This website was built to share my explorations into the world of RC Rally Racing.

Hopefully one day when finances are better, I will expand this site to feature our “real” car and track. But for now we will have to make due with a 1/10 scale RC model and a homemade backyard track with laser triggered photo transistor and software based timing.

Hey – life could be worse…

Rally Racing and Rallycross is unfortunately not as popular here in the US compared to Europe. However I am confident that the sport of rally racing will grow in the coming  years, in part thanks to ESPN’s X-Games, the ever growing video-game industry with titles such as Dirt 2 and the fact that many famous athletes such as Travis Pastrana are switching to rally racing.

Rather than listening to me rumbling on about the history and how great rally and rally cross is make the jump over to Wikipedia and read up on all the good stuff.

The Internet if full of great resources and the personal home-pages of many hobbyist’s have often inspired me and served as great resources. I hope you enjoy this site and find useful and entertaining content. Please don’t hesitate to contact me via comments below if you have a specific question or comment.

This website also covers the current project of making a playable racing video game based on our R/C track using Torcs.
